Chris Kerns has lived in Washington, DC for over 40 years. He has a wonderful wife, Carole, and three grown sons. He is a respected in-house attorney for Fort Myer Construction, a large paving and construction company in the District. Even with all these accomplishments, Chris’s volunteer work with Community of Hope “is the most important work I do everyday.” Read on...

Help the Homeless Walkathon
Please join Community of Hope at this year's 22nd Annual Fannie Mae Help the Homeless Walkathon on Saturday, November 21. The Walkathon raises money and awareness for homelessness in the DC Metropolitan area. Visit the Help the Homeless website to sign up as a walker and choose Community of Hope as your beneficiary. Encourage your friends and family to walk also!
Adopt-A-Family
Help the families at Community of Hope celebrate the holidays by participating in our annual Adopt-A-Family program, which provides gift cards for our residents and patients for Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas presents for their children.
