A special group of Community of Hope supporters hosted a reception for Community of Hope on Capitol Hill at the DC offices of Jacobs Engineering on September 10th. The turnout was excellent, our hosts were incredibly gracious. The special guest, Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, challenged everyone in a thought-provoking speech. It was a special evening for us to share our work with friends, and for one of our former residents to share her inspiring story of love and support. Thank you to everyone who made this event such a success!
The day before, Community of Hope held an art show featuring donations of original artwork made possible by Art Connection. Art Connection works with organizations like Community of Hope to give residents of underserved communities access to original, gallery-quality art.
