THE PROCESS
  • Fill out the volunteer application here or the mentor application here.
  • An interview and orientation with COH
  • Screening: references and background checks as appropriate to the position (may involve fees of $7-$25)
  • Placement and job-specific orientation

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Community of Hope offers internship opportunities in healthcare, housing, and administration and may satisfy requirements for field experience for students in social work and related fields. For more information about the internship process, email volunteer@cohdc.org with your program requirements.

VOLUNTEER FROM HOME

Consider organizing a towel, linen or snack drive at your office, church or home, or let us know what you are interested in and we will see if we can find a way to make it fit!

GROUP VOLUNTEERING

We are happy to work with volunteer groups. Tasks range depending on our current needs, but typically involve maintenance work or reading with our children. Please download and read our group information packet and email volunteer@communityofhopedc.org with your group size and preferred dates.
